Ava fell in love with dolphins last Summer when she discovered the story of Winter & Hope, the dolphins who were both rescued & rehabilitated at Clear Water Marine Aquarium. She found their stories inspirational.
Through out last year she watched documentaries on Winter & Hope.
She watched the two Dolphin Tale movies inspired by their story.
She spent many hours drawing pictures of dolphins and pretending to be a marine Vet.
We took a holiday during the year so we could go dolphin spotting.
She raised money with her friend to donate to dolphin rescue & rehab.
Her 9th birthday party in December was a dolphin party & she was stunned when we surprised her with gifts from Clear Water Marine Aquarium.
Her dream is to meet a dolphin at a rescue & rehab centre.
For Christmas we gave her a voucher to do just that in a couple of days time.
Road trip to her dream starts tomorrow.
