In their very hands they often hold evidence of their dreams… Little one’s remind us that the smallest things are precious & important… Children can be the smallest people with the biggest dreams… Dreams of the shoes they will fill tomorrow… and dreams…
Olivia & I met in 1998 when we were both first year dance students at college. I was delighted when Olivia & Michael told us they were expecting their first baby & more so when they asked if we could organise a maternity photo session. Knowing a little bit about them, I knew right away…

I LOVE these! Not a huge fan of maternity shoots normally but this has totally done it for me! The couple looks so relaxed and beautiful:) such lovely photos x

The school pick up could take me about 25 minutes total, but often it takes closer to an hour and 25 minutes. Here are some examples of why from one day this week…. 1. A little person asking to ride her ‘motorbike’ to the school (slowest motorbike ever!) 2. “Mum we should hold hands while I ride…
I just love how they soak up EVERYTHING and make little moments into adventures. How fun that all this can happen on the walk home! The roadside concert pose is too cute.
I just love that you allow them the time. I feel I am always rushing my two and I hate it.
Walking home for your two is such a ‘joyous occasion’ Glad you did’t have a cake in the oven for afternoon tea!
Your girls are just divine and you had me giggling with their antics. I love walks like that, but they always seem to want to do them when you are in a hurry. LOVE the earthquake comment, that is thr type of discussion I have with my middle son all the time.

Michelle, we are usually rushing on the way to school, but the way home is a lot more relaxed!
Libby, a cake in the oven would not be a good idea at the pace my two wander home.
Devon, in a way I think it is because they don’t have ‘to-do’ lists running through their minds & responsibilties, that they are able to really just let the walk home be a moment all of it’s own without passing through it in a hurry. There is so much to learn from children.
