Part 2 of my photography for Alimrose Designs (I shared part 1 here). A little behind the scenes info: These were taken during winter. We originally scheduled a date for the session and planned to take the pictures in one afternoon. The plan was for me to meet Erin from Alimrose, at our chosen location and shoot some lifestyle pictures with their new products. We had a small group of children coming to the session but on the day it was quite windy & we decided that particularly for the babies it was too windy & cold for the shoot. Erin was about to travel o/s, so the solution was for her to leave me with a box of products & let me play with ideas and shoot them on my own. I lined up a few more children & dates and believe it or not it rained on every day I planned to head out to shoot. Then when it wasn’t raining we would have to reschedule due to children having colds. It wasn’t originally the plan for Anouk to be the only face in these images, but in the end I had to work spontaneously. Each time I had a spot of sun, Anouk & I would get busy playing & shooting. Sometimes we literally had two minutes before the rain would pour down again & we would have to run for cover… camera, lenses, child, props, products & all. I can laugh now…. it didn’t feel so funny at the time.. hahaha![]()
What do you think of the range? French themed bags & tea towels. Bunting. The cutest aprons I have ever seen. My girls love to hang out washing on string at the same time as we hang out ours, so I adored the ‘washing day’ apron. I am yet to see one thing by Alimrose that does not make me swoon. What is your favourite?

So lovely. I love all of it. Is the blanket hanging over the dolls pram by Alimrose?
Thanks for visiting & commenting Kate, Yes the blanket is by Alimrose. I really like that blanket also. x
These are gorgeous dolls for children. Thanks for sharing.
